Guava Kulfi



Prep Time: 10 Minutes Freezing Time: 3 hours Serves: 6 (100 ml each)


INGREDIENTS

Guava diced - 500 gm

Condensed milk - 1 cup

Milk powder - 1/2 cup

Fresh cream - 10 tbsp


PREPARATION

In a bowl mix diced guava along with all other ingredients and then grind it into a smooth paste.


Now take kulfi molds/ paper cups and fill it with the guava base and place it in the freezer for 2 to 3 hours until it’s well set.


Now de-mold guava kulfi cut into half from top to bottom place it on serving plate sprinkle some salt and red chili powder and serve.

The word “kulfi” comes from the Persian word for a covered cup. The dessert likely originated in northern India (then under the Mughal Empire) in the 16th century.
