Prep time: 10 minutes  Cooking time: 20 minutes  Serves: Around 14 laddoos  INGREDIENTS Dates (seedless) 1 cup Ghee 1 tbsp Almonds (chopped) 1/2 cup Cashew (chopped) 1/2 cup Raisins 2 tbsp Dry coconut (chopped) 1/4 cup Poppy seeds 1 tsp PREPARATION: Firstly, take the seedless dates in a blender and blend to a coarse paste without adding any water. keep aside In a large Kadai heat the ghee and add almonds, cashew, raisins, and dry coconut. Roast on low flame for 5 minutes or till nuts turn crunchy. Now add poppy seeds and roast for 2 minutes. Add in crushed dates and mix well. Continue to fry on medium flame smashing dates with a spatula. This helps dates to separate out and mix uniformly with other dry fruits. Furthermore, saute till the dates start releasing oil. Turn off the flame and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Then immediately start making laddoos while it's warm; do not cool completely Laddoos can be stored for 1 month in an airtight container.
