Prep time : 5 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Total Time: 15 Minutes INGREDIENTS  : All purpose flour 280 gms Baking powder 3 tsp  Plain yogurt 380 gms Oil for frying

For Glaze : Powdered sugar 150 gms Melted butter 75 gms Vanilla extract 1 tsp Milk 5-6 tbsp Melted chocolate 30 gms or Cocoa powder 10 gms (optional) Sugar for plain coating ( If you don't want to make the glaze u can simply coat it with granulated sugar with cinnamon powder). PREPARATION : In a mixing bowl take the flour and baking powder mix it well then add the yogurt and make it a sticky batter (do not add any flour it has to be sticky) Heat up sufficient oil in a pan for deep frying. Meanwhile mix all the ingredients under the glaze section and stir it well and keep aside. Take a piping bag and fill the batter, cut the end of the piping bag based on the size of donut holes you wish. With the help of a scissor start cutting the batter from the piping bag directly to the hot oil. Move the oil slowly with a over the donut holes with the help of a spatula for even frying.

Now while the donut holes are hot do the following to get the varieties:

Glazed/ Chocolate Glazed: Dip them into the glaze of your liking and keep them aside Sugar and Cinnamon: Simply coat them in a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon powder. Enjoy the sweet treat 😉.

Did You Know?

Sea captain Hanson Gregory of Rockport invented the ever-delicious bite-sized doughnut hole. According to legend, back in the 1800's, the teenager would stick the fried balls of dough on the handles of his ship's wheel for convenient snacking.
