An instant recipe for starters/ evening snacks which can be prepared in less than 30 minutes.
Prep time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 15 minutes Total time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
Spinach leaves 25 (without stem)
All-purpose flour 1/2 cup
Corn flour 1/2 cup
Garlic powder 2 tsp
White pepper powder 2 tsp
Water
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
PREPARATION :
Wash each spinach leaves and carefully pat dry, keep it aside.
Heat oil in a frying pan to deep frying.
In a bowl mix of the ingredients except for oil, now gradually add water and make a slightly thick batter.
Dip each spinach leaf in the batter and coat well from both sides, now put in hot oil immediately.
At a time put only 3 -4 leaves according to the size of your frying pan. Ensure the spinach leaves don't stick to each other.
Fry for around 2 minutes on each side and remove it on tissue paper.
Follow the same steps for the remaining leaves.
Enjoy with any dip/ sauce of your liking.
