Sweet corn (boiled) 1/2 cup Boiled potatoes (mashed) 1 cup Mozzarella cheese or any cheese ( grated) 1/2 cup
( Being an Amul Cheese fan I used Amul Product)
Capsicum (chopped) 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves( chopped) 2 tbsp
Corn flour 3 tbsp (1 tbsp for dough and 2 tbsp for slury)
Salt to taste
Chilly flakes 1tsp
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Oregano or mixed herb 1 tsp
Bread crumbs 1 cup
Oil for deep frying
PREPARATIONÂ :Â
In a mixing bowl take sweet corn, potatoes, cheese, capsicum, coriander, 1 tbsp cornflour, chilly flakes, pepper powder, salt, and oregano mix everything well and make it a dough. Now make small lemon size balls and keep aside. In a bowl take 2 tbsp cornflour and water to make a smooth slurry. In a plate take breadcrumbs and add salt and chilly flakes. Now dip each ball in the slurry and then roll it in breadcrumbs from all sides and shape them well as balls and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying, once the oil is hot add the balls one by one and fry then evenly. Once the balls are golden in color remove them and serve them hot with some dip/chutney.
