Tiramisu is a coffee-flavored Italian dessert. With many vegetarian friends, I thought to prepare this classic dessert with a twist. This recipe is an eggless version without any alcohol but it tastes the same as the classic tiramisu. Additionally, it's a quick recipe that can be prepared in less than 15 minutes.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Ladyfingers 25-30  pieces

Instant coffee 2.5 tbsp

Hot water 2 cup

Sugar 3/4 cup

Cheese Mixture 375 gms (Mascarpone 250 gms + Cream cheese 125 gms)

Vanilla essence 3 tsp

Cocoa powder 2 tbsp

First, prepare the coffee mixture by adding the hot water to the instant coffee and then, keep it aside and let it cool.

In a large mixing bowl, take the whipping cream and the sugar together.

Then using an electric mixer whip up the cream and sugar together until soft.

Now add the mascarpone, cream cheese, and the vanilla essence to the cream and continue to whip until the mascarpone, cream cheese and cream have mixed up nicely.

Dip ladyfingers in coffee and place in an 8x12 inch pan to make the first layer. Don't let the cookie soak too much otherwise they will fall apart, just a quick dunk in the coffee is enough. Ensure the ladyfingers are spread evenly across the length and breadth of the tray.

Now spread half of the cream mixture on top of the first cookie layer and repeat the process with the second layer of ladyfingers and cream mixture.

Finally, dust the top of the cake with some cocoa powder using a sieve and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.

Note :

You can use Mascarpone cheese and Cream cheese the way or alternative use either of the cheese in the given proportion.

You can make this recipe in a single large tray or for individual serving that can be placed in small bowls or glasses of your choice.
