A recipe for evening snacks, starters or picnics.

INGREDIENTS :
All-purpose flour 2 1/2 cup
Granulated sugar 2 tbsp
Instant yeast 2 tsp
Warm water (microwave 35 sec) 2/3 cup
Salted butter (melted) 3 tbsp
Egg 1 large
Garlic powder 2 tsp
Mixed herbs 2 tsp
Salt to taste

PREPARATION :
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp instant yeast, garlic powder, mixed herbs, and salt.
Add 2/3 cup of warm water, 3 tbsp melted butter, 1 egg, and whisk vigorously to combine well.
Cover with plastic wrap and rest at room temperature 10 minutes, until some bubbles form on the surface.
Add remaining 1 1/2 cups flour, adding just enough until dough holds together and no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl. Knead in the bowl for 5 minutes. If dough is really sticking to your hands, dust lightly with flour then continue kneading with clean dry hands.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Deflate the dough, and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions, and roll it out into a 1/2 inch thick round 8 cm diameter, cut into 1-inch strips.
Wrap the strips around the sausage and place them on lightly greased and floured baking sheets at least 2 inches apart. Cover the rolls with a damp cloth, and let rise until doubled in volume, about 30 minutes.
Whisk up 1 Egg and together with a Tbsp of water and brush the surface of the sausage rolls and sprinkle few sesame seeds then place in a 180°C preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or till golden brown.
