Nutty Chocobar

An easy recipe to beat the heat... An all-time favorite of my household.

Prep time: 5 minutes  Cook time: 15 minutes Cooling time: 8 hours Serves: 6

Milk powder 1 cup

Water 3/4 cup + 3 tbsp

Condensed milk 1/3 cup

Corn flour  2 tbsp

Vanilla essence  2 tsp

Chocolate 200 gms (chopped)

Butter 1 tbsp

Roasted Almonds 2 tbsp (crushed)

In a saucepan add milk powder and 3/4 cup of water mix it well, now place it over the gas on low flame to medium flame bring it to a boil.

Then add condensed milk and mix properly.

Now in a cup take cornflour and 3 tbsp of water and make a thin paste.

Slowly add the cornflour mixture to the milk and continuously stir it, and cook till it becomes thick.

Now transfer to a measuring mug (or something from which it is convenient to pour into the ice cream molds) and let it cool for few minutes.

Then add the vanilla essence and with the help of the hand blender blend the mixture.

Now pour the mixture equally into 6 ice cream molds, cover it with an aluminum foil, and insert the ice-cream stick in each mold.

Freeze the ice cream sticks for 8 hours or overnight.

Now melt the chocolate and butter either by double boiler method or directly in the microwave for 1 minute (if you find the melted chocolate thick u can add about 1 tbsp of milk to it😉)

Pour the melted chocolate into a tall glass, add the roasted almonds to the melted chocolate at this stage if you want it crunchy.

Now remove each icecream popsicles from the mold and dip it into the melted chocolate.

Enjoy your homemade CHOCOBAR with family and friends 😊
