
Prep time: 10 minutes Resting time: 80 minutes Baking time: 25 minutes INGREDIENTS: All-purpose flour(Maida) 2 cup / 300 gms Sugar 4 tbsp / 64 gms Salt 1/2 tsp / 4 gms Instant Yeast 1/2 tbsp / 6 gms Milk powder 1/4 cup / 26 gms Warm Water 1/2 cup Melted butter 1/4 cup Milk for brushing
PREPARATION:
*Milk Powder Mix: In a small bowl mix salt, 2 tbsp sugar, yeast, and milk powder dissolve everything properly with 1/2 cup of warm water, stir it well and keep it aside.Â
In a mixing bowl take the all-purpose flour, add milk powder mix* in the flour, and bring everything together as a dough.
Rest the dough covered with a damp towel for 60 minutes in a warm place.
After 60 minutes add the melted butter and the remaining 2 tbsp sugar in the dough and knead the dough for around 5-7 minutes.
Shape the dough in a rectangle shape and place it carefully in a greased tin.
Again cover it with the damp towel for around 20 minutes.
The dough will rise, now brush it with some cold milk and bake it in a preheated oven @180° for 25 minutes (you can check it after 20-22 minutes).
After removing from the oven brush the freshly baked bread with some butter and allow it to cool.
