Garlic Shrimp

This is a prawn recipe that can be prepared in less than 30 minutes with a distinct flavor of fried garlic, goes well with bread or rice.

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes Serves: 2

 

INGREDIENTS :

Queen/ king / Jambo shrimp (peeled & deveined) 15

Garlic 6-7 big cloves

Extra virgin olive oil 1/4 cup

Paprika powder 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Coriander/Parsley freshly chopped handful


INSTRUCTIONS :

Thinly slice all the cloves of garlic from one head of garlic, pat down raw shrimp with paper towels and season them with sea salt & freshly cracked black pepper.


Heat a frying pan on medium flame and pour in extra virgin olive oil, after 2 minutes add in the sliced garlic and mix around with the olive oil, then instantly add in the shrimps, after 1 minute flip the shrimp. After a total cooking time of 2 minutes add in paprika powder, give it all a mix until well combined and then transfer to a serving dish.


Sprinkle the shrimp with freshly chopped coriander/parsley and serve hot, enjoy!


Note: Don't overcook the shrimps they become chewy. Shrimps cook really fast😊.
