Creole Butter Chicken recipe is different from Creole Chicken. In this recipe, I served the Creole Butter chicken with mashed potatoes (for recipe click here) and sauteed vegetables (for recipe click here).

INGREDIENTS :
Creole seasoning :
Onion powder 1 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tbsp
Dried oregano 1 tbsp
Dried thyme 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
Cayenne pepper 1 tbsp
Paprika 2 1/2 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp (a little less if u want)
Chicken :
Chicken breasts (cleaned and skinned) 4 pieces
Egg (beaten and seasoned with salt) 2
All-purpose flour (seasoned with some salt and pepper powder) 1/4 cup
Breadcrumbs (freshly grind) 1 1/2 cup
Oil for frying ( You can also bake the chicken in oven)
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter 1/2 cup
PREPARATION :
Creole seasoning :
In small bowl or jar, mix well all ingredients and keep it aside.
Chicken :
Season the chicken pieces with some salt and pepper and keep them aside for 15 minutes.
In one flat plate take the seasoned all-purpose flour, in a flat bowl take the beaten eggs and in another flat plate take the breadcrumbs.
Now pick up each piece of chicken breast coat it in dry flour then dip it well in the egg and lastly coat them well with bread crumbs and keep it aside on a clean plate. Repeat the steps till all the 4 pieces of chicken are coated well.
Now heat oil in a frying and start frying the chicken pieces till they are crispy and golden brown. To cut down few calories u can bake the chicken pieces in the oven @180°C for 20 minutes(or until cooked well).
Now cut the chicken pieces into the desired size. Heat a pan and add in the butter not add the creole seasoning according to your taste and mix. After 1-2 minutes of frying the creole seasoning with butter add the chicken pieces and give it a good mix.
Your Creole Butter Chicken is ready to serve.
Enjoy it with some creamy mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables.
