INGREDIENTS:
For the Cake batter:
Eggs 3 large
Sugar 3/4 cup / 160 gms
All-purpose flour 1 1/3 cup / 160 gms
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Salted butter 2/3 cup / 150 gms (melted)
Orange juice 1/2 cup
Orange zest 1 tsp
For Glaze:
Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
Orange juice 2-3 tbsp
PREPARATION:
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 25 × 10 cm loaf tin.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until creamy and light. Then add the flour and the baking powder.
Pour the butter, orange juice, and zest into the batter and incorporate it well.
Pour the batter into the loaf tin and bake for 40 minutes. Allow the cake to cool completely.
For the Glaze: In a bowl take the powdered sugar and add orange juice to make it into a thick paste ( Add the orange juice proportionately)
Pour the glaze over the cake and decorate it with some sliced oranges 😍
